ADSS Self Support Aerial Fiber Optic Cable
Application Scope:
Environment with high electric field strength in the Power communication system and the area where frequent thunder happens
Features:
(1) Lightweight and small diameter reduces the impact of ice and wind, and their impact on tower and supporter.
(2) Large span length: Max span>1000 meters, and the optical cable can be installed without electrical outage.

ADSS cable structure
ADSS cable is the short form for All-dielectric Self-supporting Optical Cable.
ADSS fiber optic cable is loose tube stranded; the tubes are filled with water resistant filling compound.
The tubes are stranded around fiber reinforced plastic are a non-metallic central strength member into a compact and circular cable core.
After the ADSS cable core is filled with filling compound, it is covered with a thin PE inner sheath, after two layers of Aramid yarns which are applied in two directions over the inner sheath as strength member,
ADSS optical fiber cable is completed with PE or AT outer sheath.
Optic fiber cable specifications
1. Up to 144 fibers
2. Light weight, less additional load to tower. The maximum span can reach 1500m.
3. Strong anti-pull performance, more than 90KN.
4. Non metallic structure provides good insulation, excellent lightning resistant.
5. Equal distribution of aramid yarns with good production process, excellent stress/strain performance.
6. Excellent bullet resistant performance
7. Excellent tracking resistant performance.
8. Installation wuthout power off and the normal transmission of cable won't be influenced by power line fault
