All dielectric Self Supporting fibre cable is suited to external aerial applications such as power lines, railway overhead lines or telephone poles. ADSS cable features a completely non-metallic structure and is therefore suited for applications where high voltage power lines are present.

  • Requires no messenger wire -- fully self-supporting
  • Single pass installation -- no messenger, no lashing wire -- faster and lower cost
  • Cable is water-blocked using dry core technology, therefore no messy flooding compounds
  • Design details for span lengths up to 1500ft (457m) and fiber counts up to 432
Applications
  • The actual status of overhead power lines is taken into full consideration when ADSS cable is being designed.
  • For overhead power lines 10kv and 35kv, PE outer sheath is applied. 
  • For power lines 110kV and 220KV, AT outer sheath is applied. 
  • The dedicate design of aramid quantity and stranding process can satisfy the demand on various spans.
